Cancer Care, LGBT2Q+ Community, and Mental Health - Adult & Senior

Support group provides an opportunity for lesbian and queer women, and gay and queer men, with cancer (including non-binary), a chance to meet with one another to discuss and address their unique experiences and challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
Support Groups:
  • Gay & Queer Men’s Cancer Support Group: This program provides an opportunity for gay and queer men with cancer, as well as non-binary individuals, to meet with one another to discuss and address the unique experiences and challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
  • Lesbian & Queer Women’s Cancer Support Group: This online program is open to lesbians, queer, bisexual, pansexual and asexual women who are experiencing cancer and looking for a welcoming, nonjudgmental space to find support in each other. Trans women, cis women, Two-spirit, non-binary, and gender diverse individuals are all welcome.

Peer Support: Peer support is available; individuals are encouraged to indicate their preference to meet with someone from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community when submitting their request.
